What is Reiki?

Reiki is a Japanese technique and is used for stress relief and relaxation. Reiki means 'spiritually guided life force'. Rei - Gods wisdom or Higher power and Ki -  life force energy. 

 

Reiki is a gentle healing energy that can help restore the bodies natural flow of energies through the 7 main Chakra points and help to support the physical body and benefit wellbeing. 

Reiki has many benefits and treats the whole body, mind, emotions and spirit. Benefits include:

  • Relief from pain and discomfort

  • reduces stress and anxiety

  • increases blood flow and circulation

  • helps relieve depression

  • aids relaxation and improves sleep

  • clears blockage and suppressed emotions​

During the session you will be fully clothed and it is mostly a hands off therapy although contact with the head, arms and legs is made with permission.
